Once you have booked your date, you will need to provide us with some information regarding the vehicle you will be using on our track. We require (a) proof of registration and (b) proof of ownership. Where the owner of the vehicle is not the same as the driver, then we will also require a letter of authorisation from the owner of the vehicle. BIC reserves the right to cancel any booked dates where the necessary information is not provided or where BIC has reason to believe that it is insufficient.
BIC accepts no responsibility for any damage that a vehicle may suffer through its use on an open track day. In any event, the vehicle’s owner/authorized driver of the vehicle accepts all liabilities and will hold BIC harmless of any damage to the vehicle arising through the authorized use of the vehicle on an open track day.
If you choose to cancel your booking, without notice, you will be in breach of contract and we reserve the right to retain all monies paid.
Should you need to cancel a booked date, notice will need to be given to BIC in writing stating the reason for cancellation, at least 5 days prior to the date. Failure to do so will render the full cost due and payable, where it has not yet been fully paid. Refunds cannot be provided.
We ask that you arrive early and register at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. We cannot permit anyone to drive on our track without attending the preceding drivers’ briefing, so it is essential that you arrive on time. No alcohol can be consumed prior to and/or during driving on our track and we reserve the right to refuse entry to or use of the track to persons we suspect to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. In such circumstances BIC will not rebook the date or offer any refund.
Where you are required to wear a crash helmet, this is mandatory and there are no exceptions. To ensure safety, it is a condition for you and your guests (if any) to be admitted to the Bahrain International Circuit that no animals (other than pre confirmed assistance dogs) are allowed on site and any person found in breach of this condition will be asked to leave, irrespective of whether they have completed their drive. In such circumstances BIC will not rebook the date or offer any refund.
Only one passenger is permitted in the vehicle along with the driver and the passenger must be wearing the appropriate wrist band. A passenger must be at least 15 years of age. Where a passenger is under 18 years of age, BIC must be provided with a letter of authorisation from the passenger’s parent or legal guardian.
In exceptional circumstances when the instructor considers that a driver is unable to (a) accept instruction, (b) adhere to safety rules, (c) remain in full control of their vehicle, (d) makes contact with another vehicle or, (e) is involved in and accident, the session may be curtailed immediately at the discretion of the Operations Manager and/or the instructor. In such circumstances BIC will not rebook the date or offer any refund. The driver may book a new date, but it is at BIC’s discretion as to whether or not to accept the booking. The safety of all participants is of paramount importance.
