Hamilton sets the pace on day 1 of in-season testing

Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time of the day today on day one of Formula 1 pre-season testing at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir Hamilton registered a best lap of one minute 31.358 seconds while completing 97 laps of work. Antonio Giovinazzi, driving for Ferrari, had the second-best time of the day, running 0.626s slower than the leading Mercedes. Ryan Cullen triumphed in the weekend’s second race of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East Cullen won in 21 minutes 24.663 seconds.
